The STUDENT LEARNING SURVEY is now replacing the SATISFACTION SURVEY. The Satisfaction Survey has been administered annually in BC public schools since 2001.

Although the survey has been very useful to a number of organizations seeking to improve youth services, the Ministry has heard from educators and students that it needed to be made more useful for improving student learning. Students and educators have also told us that they want to see the connections between their school experiences, and their educational outcomes - and they want to be able to follow changes across time.

This year the STUDENT LEARNING SURVEY will be sent out to all school staff as well as parents of students in grade four and seven and students in grade four and seven at Juniper Ridge Elementary. The survey will close on May 5, 2015. The responses are protected under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. They will remain confidential, and the results will be used only in unidentifiable forms to improve educational program delivery.

We encourage you to answer as many questions as you can because you will be helping to improve education for all BC and Juniper Ridge students. Letters for parents with access PINs will be sent out to all parents with students in grade four and seven by April 13, 2017.
