Hi Parents,

Here are the updates for the upcoming week and a glance at the following week as well. If you are on Instagram be sure to follow @juniperridgeelementary as I showcase a lot of the learning and good times that happen in a week at our school.

Please find attached the BC WINTER GAMES VOLUNTEER CHALLENGE! Each community has been asked to see if their parents/staffs would consider volunteering for the games. The school with the most volunteers wins a party for the school.  Thanks if you have some time to lend a hand. As a school district we are supporting the games.

BE A HUNGER HERO!  Thanks to all that have donated! Monday December 11 is the last day of the campaign so if you can help us get the heaviest donations we would appreciate it. Bags of rice or jars of peanut butter have a lot of weight!

ART CARDS and SOCKS! We are so sorry for the delay in these items. We are at the mercy of the distributors so when they don't ship as per our agreement it delays us getting the items to you. We sincerely apologize and promise that as soon as the items arrive they will be sent home.

MONDAY DEC. 11- Constable Meikle will talk to all Gr. 3-7 students about the vandalism and graffiti that has been happening in our school. Through an education lens as our School RCMP officer, he will inform the children about why this behaviour is problematic. Please follow up with your child as well so we can end the disturbing incidences.

STAFF MEETING at for the staff afterschool. Please respect that staff will be trying to get to the meeting and won't have time to chat today.
