PAC SPRING SOCIAL! A handout came home Friday afternoon with every child on mauve paper with details about the Spring Social- Friday May 11 at the Sandman Signature Hotel. There are so many great silent auction items and many classes are creating items for parents to bid on as well. It is a worthwhile cause and we appreciate parents attending. Tickets are now available for the Juniper Ridge Elementary Spring Social Fundraiser! You can purchase them through your munch-a-lunch accounts or by visiting the website; https://juniperridge73.wixsite.com/springsocial There will be snacks too!
Tuesday April 24- Juniper Ridge Flag Football team travels to St. Ann's. Parents of players we only have enough drivers for 8 players! Please send Mrs. Johnston firstname.lastname@example.org if you are able to drive and help the team out.
It is the GREAT HALL TEA for students in Mrs. Swift and Mrs. Johnston's classes at 1:05 on Tuesday. What a great time this will be!
On Wednesday April 25 Leadership students are doing a CUPCAKE SALE for the Cancer Daffodil Campgain. Send $1 or a donation for Cancer Research on this day please.
It is the MCGOWAN PARK PARLOFF at HILLSIDE on Wedneday. Good luck to our teams and thanks to Mrs. Swift for coaching. All permission slips must be back Tuesday to run.
Ms. Marlatt's class goes to the Big Little Science Centre on Wednesday.
Gr. 4 PHYSICAL LITERACY from 8-8:30 am starts April 25th. 21 GR.4's returned their permission forms for this! Exceptional!
On Thursday April 26 students in Mrs. Storozak and Ms. Marlatt's classes go to Gymnastics 10-11.
We are also sending home ICECREAM ORDERS! These are due back with payment by Wed. May 2. Icecream Day is Wednesday May 9 and treats will be dispersed at the end of the school day! Mrs. Decker and I are organizing this!
Pizza with the Principal Lunch for my 4 lucky winners is Thursday at 12:05. Mrs. Storozak invites her parents from 4-6 drop in for a Brag Night in her classroom.
Students interested in running the 600 or 800 m race to qualify for Zones must do this with Mrs. Unsworth on Thursday (Gr. 4-7) and the 1000 m will be Friday with her.
Flag Football practice at 2:45-4:15 Thursday.
Friday April 27 is our APRIL RECOGNITION ASSEMBLY. We will be presenting the girls with their CITY CHAMPIONSHIP BANNER FOR VOLLEYBALL if parents would like to attend to get their daughter's photo with it as a memory before it is hung in the gym. You will see our flag at half mast on Friday for the National Day of Mourning for those that lost their lives in the workplace.
